Touseanexternaldisplayforvideooutput,youhavetoenabletheAttacheddisplayfunctionrstfromthe
QuickSettingspanel.
WhenyouconnectanexternaldisplaytoyourtabletthroughtheHDMIconnector,yourtabletscreenimage
isautomaticallymirroredontheexternaldisplayatthehighestresolutionthatthedevicesupports.
Ifyouattachanexternaldisplaywhileyouareplayingavideo,thevideooutputisdisplayedontheexternal
displayinafull-screenlandscapemode,butthevideoplaybackcontrolsaredisplayedonyourtablet.
Todisabletheimageoutputontheattacheddisplay,disconnecttheexternaldisplayfromyourtablet.
Usingsynchronizationsolutions
Byusingsynchronizationsolutions,youcaneasilytransferlesbetweenyourtabletandyourcomputer,
andbackupyourpersonalinformation,workingdocuments,mediales,andotherinformationwitha
cloud-basedapplication.
Synchronizinglesbetweenyourtabletandcomputer
YourtabletsupportstheWindows
®
DeviceStagefeature,whichenablesyoutosynchronizemediales
anddocumentsbetweenamobiledeviceandapersonalcomputer.Connectyourtablettoyourcomputer
throughthesuppliedUSBcabletousethissynchronizationsolution.
Bydefault,themicroUSBconnectionsettingofyourtabletissetasMediadevice(MTP).Whenthetabletis
connectedtoyourcomputerforthersttime,assoonasthenecessarydriversareinstalled,theDevice
Stagewindowisdisplayedonthecomputerforyoutoperformthefollowingtasks:
•Synchronizepictures,videos,andmusicstoredonyourcomputerwithyourtablet.
•Managethemedialesstoredonyourtablet.
•Useyourcomputertoviewlesandfoldersonyourtablet.
•Copypicturesandvideosfromyourtablettoyourcomputer.
•DownloadandinstalltheDocsToGoprogramonyourcomputertosynchronizeMicrosoftofce
documentsbetweenyourcomputerandyourtablet.
•NameyourtabletandsetuphowyouwantyourtablettoworkwiththeWindowsoperatingsystem.

•Someofthetaskoptionsmightnotbeavailableonyourcomputer.AvailableoptionsvarybytheWindows
operatingsystemandtheWindowsoperatingsystemversion.
