5.Removethefrontsystemfan(s).See“Replacingthefrontsystemfan”onpage157.
6.DisconnectthesignalcableoftheIntelligentDiagnosticsModulefromtheIntelligentDiagnosticsModule
connectoronthesystemboard.See“Systemboardcomponents”onpage45

7.Ifnecessary,removeanypartsordisconnectanycablesthatmightimpedeyouraccesstothesignal
cableoftheIntelligentDiagnosticsModule.Notethecableroutingandthenreleasethesignalcableof
theIntelligentDiagnosticsModulefromanycableclipsortiesinthechassis.
8.Removethescrew1onthechassisthatsecurestheIntelligentDiagnosticsModule.Then,carefully
removetheIntelligentDiagnosticsModulefromthechassisandpullthesignalcableoftheIntelligent
DiagnosticsModuleoutoftheholeinthechassis.
