with.Donotchangethevalueofunfamiliaritemsoritemsthatarenotmentionedinthistopictoavoid
unexpectedproblems.Ifyouconsiderchangingtheserverconfiguration,proceedwithextremecaution.
Settingtheconfigurationincorrectlymightcauseunexpectedresults.Ifyoucannotturnontheserver
becauseofincorrectBIOSsettings,usetheClearCMOS/RecoveryjumpertorecovertheBIOStothe

imageandfollowtheinstructionsontheWebsitetoupdatetheBIOS.See“Updatingorrecoveringthe
BIOS”onpage69.AfterupdatingtheBIOS,alltheBIOSsettingsbecomethedefaultsettingsofthe
updatedBIOSversion.YouneedtocheckandreconfiguretheBIOSsettingsforyourspecificneeds.
