hot-swapredundantpowersupplyisworkingcorrectly.WhentheLEDislitinamber,itindicatesthatthe
hot-swapredundantpowersupplyislikelytofailorhasfailed.Youneedtoreinstallorreplaceit.
Replacingahot-swapredundantpowersupply
Attention:Donotopenyourserverorattemptanyrepairbeforereadingandunderstanding“Safetyinformation”
onpageiiiand“Guidelines”onpage61.
Beforeyoubegin,printalltherelatedinstructionsorensurethatyoucanviewthePDFversiononanother
computerforreference.
Note:Useanydocumentationthatcomeswiththehot-swapredundantpowersupplyandfollowthose
instructionsinadditiontotheinstructionsinthistopic.
Toreplaceahot-swapredundantpowersupply,dothefollowing:
1.Locatethefailinghot-swapredundantpowersupplyintherearofyourserver.Then,disconnectthe
powercordfromthefailinghot-swapredundantpowersupply.
2.Pressthetab1inwardandcarefullypullthehandle2toslidethehot-swapredundantpowersupply
outofthechassis.
Note:Donotusetoomuchforce.Youcanfirstcarefullyslidethehot-swapredundantpowersupplya
littlebitouttoreleaseitfromthesecuredposition.Then,completelyslideitoutofthechassis.
