Installingorreplacingahot-swapredundantpowersupply
Dependingonthemodel,yourservermightcomewithoneortwohot-swapredundantpowersupplies.
Whentheserverispopulatedwithtwohot-swapredundantpowersupplies,theservercanwithstanda
powerlossfromeitherpowersupply.Thishelpsyouavoidsignificantinterruptiontotheoperationofthe
serverwhenapowersupplyfails.Youcanreplacethefailinghot-swapredundantpowersupplywithout
turningofftheserver.
Someservermodelscomewithonlyonepowersupply.Youcanpurchaseahot-swapredundantpower
supplyfromtheLenovoWebsiteat:
