Warrantyservicemaynotbeavailableinalllocationsandmaydifferfromlocation

tolocation.ChargesmayapplyoutsideaServiceProvider’snormalservicearea.

CustomerResponsibilitiesforWarrantyService

Beforewarrantyserviceisprovided,youmusttakethefollowingsteps:

•followtheservicerequestproceduresspeciedbytheServiceProvider;

•backuporsecureallprogramsanddatacontainedintheproduct;

•providetheServiceProviderwithallsystemkeysorpasswords;

•providetheServiceProviderwithsufcient,free,andsafeaccesstoyour

facilitiestoperformservice;

•removealldata,includingcondentialinformation,proprietaryinformationand

personalinformation,fromtheproductor,ifyouareunabletoremoveanysuch

information,modifytheinformationtopreventitsaccessbyanotherpartyor

sothatitisnotpersonaldataunderapplicablelaw.TheServiceProvidershall

notberesponsibleforthelossordisclosureofanydata,includingcondential

information,proprietaryinformation,orpersonalinformation,onaproduct

returnedoraccessedforwarrantyservice;

•removeallfeatures,parts,options,alterations,andattachmentsnotcovered

bythewarranty;

•ensurethattheproductorpartisfreeofanylegalrestrictionsthatprevent

itsreplacement;

•ifyouarenottheownerofaproductorpart,obtainauthorizationfromthe

ownerfortheServiceProvidertoprovidewarrantyservice.

WhatY ourServiceProviderWillDotoCorrectProblems

WhenyoucontactaServiceProvider,youmustfollowthespeciedproblem

determinationandresolutionprocedures.

TheServiceProviderwillattempttodiagnoseandresolveyourproblemby

telephone,e-mailorremoteassistance.TheServiceProvidermaydirectyouto

downloadandinstalldesignatedsoftwareupdates.

Someproblemsmayberesolvedwithareplacementpartthatyouinstallyourself

calleda“CustomerReplaceableUnit”or“CRU.”Ifso,theServiceProviderwill

shiptheCRUtoyouforyoutoinstall.

Ifyourproblemcannotberesolvedoverthetelephone;throughtheapplicationof

softwareupdatesortheinstallationofaCRU,theServiceProviderwillarrangefor
