toreducethenumberofchargecyclesbylettingthebatterydischargetoalowerpercentagebeforeit

beginstocharge.Y oucanchangethebatterychargethresholdsontheBatterytab.

Youcanalsosetthemaximumchargevaluetobelow100%.Thisoptionisusefultoprolongthelifespan

ofthebatteriesthatyoudonotusefrequently,becauseitisrecommendedtostorebatterieswithless

chargeratherthanfullcharge.

•RemotelyconﬁgurePowerManageranddeploypowerplan

PowerManagerenablesanITadministratortoconﬁgurePowerManageranddeployapowerplanusing

ActiveDirectory.TheITadministratorcanselectanactivepowerplanintheclientcomputers,inhibit

theuser'sabilitytoswitchbetweenpowerplans,selectaspeciﬁcpowerplan,orcreateapowerplan.

Forexample,theITadministratorcandisabletheMaximumPerformancepowerplanandusers

cannotselectit.

Also,theITadministratorcanconﬁguresettingsfortheGeneralSettingpolicies,PowerPlan(Scheme)

Deploymentspolicies,GlobalPowerSettingspolicies,andBatteryMaintenancepolicy.
