Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoinstalltheopticaldrive.
Toinstalltheopticaldrive,dothefollowing:
1.Ifyouarereplacingtheopticaldrive,makesurethat:
•Youhaveallthecablesandotherequipmentthatisspeciedinthedocumentationthatcomes
withthenewopticaldrive.
•Youhavecheckedtheinstructionsthatcomewiththenewopticaldrivetodeterminewhetheryou
mustsetanyswitchesorjumpersinthedrive.
•Youhaveremovedtheretentiontabfromtherearoftheoldopticaldriveandhaveitavailablefor
installationonthenewopticaldrive.
